Garone Custom Rods & Tackle
In 2012 - five years after building his first rod, Mike launched Garone Custom Rods and Tackle. At first, he worked out of his parent's basement. But, as demand increased, he opened a specialty retail tackle shop and rod studio in Manasquan, NJ, where he specializes in Vertical Jigging and Popping Rods, and tackle for Tuna, Tilefish, Giant Trevally, Grouper, Amberjack, and other game fish.
His work has been featured on the cover of RodMaker Magazine and his rods are fished all over the world for countless species of game fish.
When he isn't spinning up rods, Mike loves chasing Fluke, Blackfish, Tuna, Tilefish, and just about anything else that will eat a jig or topwater lure.
