xOur goal was to create a Power Wrapper that was unapologetically simple and easy to use, modular, portable, lightweight, customizable, and most of all: inexpensive. At a price point that’s impossible to ignore, it allows rod builders to spend less on equipment and more on quality rod components and supplies. To date, nothing has checked off all these points…Enter the HFF Power Wrapper.
3-Jaw Chuck and Motor
The incredibly smooth metal 3-Jaw Chuck makes wrapping rods manually just as fun as wrapping under power. The adjustable rheostat lets you fine-tune your rpm’s so you can have full control over the speed even with the foot pedal pushed all the way down. When you’re ready to switch it over to the drying mode, simply move the drive belt from the power wrapper pulley to the dryer motor pulley and move the switch to “Dry” mode. The drying motor is multidirectional so if you don’t like the direction the motor is turning, quickly grab the chuck and let it go to reverse the direction. Note, this current model is NOT recommended for sanding/shaping cork or EVA.
Track Section
Consisting of 1’ sections that click and snap together without the use of bolts, nuts, and connector plates. Support tabs and puzzle-style notches on each track section make lining up the sections a breeze. Easily add on as many sections as you want. Assembles to an 8’ track in seconds and breaks down to an ultra-compact size for easy storage when not in use. Thread Carriage slots on the front and back of the tracks allows for carriages on either side.
Support Stand
The V-Support stands feature slots at the base for incredibly easy movement yet stay put when the rod is installed. 3 tension cutouts on each side of the stand offer adjustable tension for rod diameters of any size – meaning your tip sections stay snug for easy wrapping. No more loosening wing nuts and knobs to slide your stands down the track – simply slide and stop.
Thread Carriage
Our 1-Spool, 2-Spool, and optional 4-Spool thread carriages feature no wheels, no bearings, and require no adjusting. Using opposing magnets, you can dial in your exact thread tension without the “skipping” and thread jumping caused from spring tension. Simply slide into either side of the carriage track, adjust your tension with the tension knob, and start wrapping!
